Registrar Accreditations
1API GmbH proudly obtained ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) accreditation in November 2007. Headquartered in Marina Del Rey, California, USA, ICANN is a non-profit corporation that was created in 1998 to oversee a number of Internet-related tasks including the management and the assignment of domain names and IP-Addresses through accredited registrars such as 1API.
Memberships
The Réseaux IP Européens Network Coordination Centre (RIPE NCC) is the Regional Internet Registry (RIR) for Europe, the Middle East and parts of Central Asia, which oversees the allocation and registration of Internet number resources (IPv4 addresses, IPv6 addresses and Autonomous System (AS) Numbers) throughout the region.
